Well since I’m a HUGE zombie fan and a huge fan of Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore’s graphic novel The Walking Dead if you haven’t read it you should it has a great storyline. Well coming on the AMC network this October 31st The Walking Dead will debut its pilot. Check out the trailer!

I did this piece for Neue digital magazine submission. Each time they do a new city each designer gets inspired by the city and does some art/typography that works with it. I have a few options that I did. Partake!

Well last night I finished the “We Love Italic” sticker and button and they will be going to print soon. The original calligraphic sketch was done with my blown out felt tip calligraphy marker. Then I took it into Illustrator and made a brush to mimic my other fine calligraphy nips held at a 45 degree angle. These will be promo items for catch them if you can! Partake!

Well after three days in Vegas I am finally home relaxing with a glass of lovely Pinot Noir trying to sum up the random adventures that went down. I did some pictures with my DSLR camera and got tired of carrying around that huge thing and went with my BlackBerry I need to invest in a Point & Shoot. Nonetheless I was able to catch up with friends Huf crew, Primitive crew, Agenda crew, Jeff Staple and Benny Gold with some dope projects lined up. Partake!

We then found this random chick eating Chez-Its at the bar she wasn’t even drinking and being snobby with her Chez-Its.
This was only the first night and the first hour.
Sweets of the Huf crew Keith was floating around somewhere… Sweets is always lurking hide your wives and daughters.
Jubal had to do some interview thing for Magic Tradeshow… hahahaha
Later that night Kellen broke out the suit and all 15 of us went to the Creative Recs party at XS in the Wynn. One of the most random nights of my life so much to say and share I’ll just say Tague had a dance off with another guy at this event.
The next day with my head hurting we went to Project to some meetings I snagged thing picture for my friend Sako over at Z-Shock

Well yesterday was a big day and I traveled an obscene amount from Sierra Madre to Glendora to Santa Monica to Encino to Silverlake and back. My partner and I are dropping a line called Entity and below are some sneak peeks from the screenprinter’s shop. Partake!
I had the chance to catch up with good friend David Flores on art and life at his art show.
I’m still learning this whole DSLR thing so the picture is a tad bit fuzzy. Nonetheless Danny O’ Conner showed up and I was about to catch up with him also.
I also met Gaslamp Killer that night also and got a picture of him. Man that lighting right there was way to yellow… Nice to meet you sir!

The show was crazy; though I didn’t get everyone pictured I have some. With the tribulations of long airport lines, Enterprise not having a rental cause everyone was all rented out in the area and just general LA traffic I finally made it to the show. Friends partake in the evening below!

Before I leave in the morning thought I post this up. I was able to team up with Designcollector a Russian design blog and a supporter of my typographic adventures you should check them out at designcollector.net. I did a webheader for them I decided to experiment with some 3D rendering so I made the word DESIGN and took it into Cinema 4D and make it cute and fuzzy and then touched up in Photoshop. After many hours getting it just right I drew a very dainty and elegant lettering for Collector with some lovely flourishing vectored it to get it as clean and smooth as possible and made it italic and ascend upwards.
