Thursday, February 3rd, 2011Today I had a meeting with the good guys at Grove Made they make awesome goods for Moleskine & iPhone 3GS and 4 they also have a artist series that I will be apart of here soon. Joe & Ken are just plan amazing and gave me the run down on how the laser etching process happens and I must say its very amazing. I also met his neighbors (they had some rad Mystery decks on the wall) the Peet Kegler crew was just rad and laid back and not to mention a team of design juggernauts they also gave me some very rad homemade stickers. Monday, January 31st, 2011Again I will be doing Show Us Your Type this time its all about Kingston, Jamaica and I couldn’t be more stoked to work on this type piece. Lately I’ve been pushing myself to push the boundaries of typography and how things are composed and how they will be read along with those ideals I have started to experiment in abstraction and abstraction of negative space to make other interesting forms between what our eyes read. Order Of The Rising Sun Gold Rays With Rosette
Monday, January 31st, 2011I recently went up to Seattle, WA for my Uncle that was receiving medal from the Emperor of Japan for building better relations between Japan & US through education. It was a amazing night I learned how to tie a bow tie, after some wine we found out what the Rosette on the medal was (I was wrong) and just a great time with family even though I had 20 deadlines to meet.
