I designed this poster for my solo show in March 2009 limited to only 35 posters. It was partially inspired by police brutality day and Nazi propaganda. Inspired solely by Joy Division. I produced some custom typography and hand drawn one color print graphic. They asked me to go all out and create something that reminded them of the old 70s & 80s punk illustration style for the Shaun White line. this is what came out. Some good old Rat Fink material came to mind and just ripping it to the end of days. Mountain Dew asked Hot Rod to be apart of there Shop Series. So they asked me to draw up something mantis related. I was inspired by Goosebumps book “Shocker on Shocker Street” and old Japanese B movie posters.
